Pat Konicki graduated from the American Academy of Art and began her career as a graphic designer and illustrator in Chicago. After relocating to Miami, she opened a graphic design and advertising firm focused on clients in the fashion, retail, healthcare and manufacturing industries. As a current and long time resident of the Carolinas, Pat spent years as an educator, instructor and design consultant, ultimately focusing on fine art.

Pat derives much of her inspiration from her surroundings. Her use of watercolor offers a unique detailed study of often forgotten treasures found in the rural areas. She is an active member of leading organizations, including the American Watercolor Society and the South Carolina Watermedia Society. Konicki’s work has also been featured in numerous competitive solo and group exhibitions across regional creative hubs. In addition, her art has been exhibited in galleries throughout North and South Carolina. A testament to her commercial viability and artistic appeal, many of her original paintings are globally licensed and distributed by McGaw Graphics, Inc.
